What is Artfolio Shop? How does is work?

Basic Overview #

Artfolio shop is a multi-seller online marketplace made for Artists. The products listed on Artfolio Shop are handmade by artists from different districts of Bengal. Only artists can sell their own creations on Artfolio Shop.

Any artist choosing this platform to showcase and sell their creations are offered to open a store in Artfolio Shop website. The artist will have dedicated page of their chosen name as store showcasing their products, biography, reviews all in one place. They will be able to sell their products listed on their store. Artfolio does not charge any commission on the products sold on Artfolio Shop.

The Process of Seller Registration #

General registration process as a seller on Artfolio Shop is designed to be easy but at the same time be cognizant about the quality of the product and the values of the brand. Our seller registration process includes four steps.

1. Application : Sellers apply to open a store with necessary details.
2. Discussion: Artfolio Shop Onboarding team contacts seller and a detailed discussion is planned to understand the product and brand values.
3. Artfolio Analysis: Artfolio Quality Team analyses some of the products from the seller. Our team prefer to use and experience one or two products. 
4. Approval: Once the quality team approves the product, the seller is ready to set up the store and list products for sale.

The complete process takes around 7-10 days once we receive the application. Once the application is approved, you can list your products and start selling instantly.

The Cost to Run a Store #

Artfolio Shop do not charge any commission to any parties for the sales made on the platform. We charge the lowest possible monthly subscription fee to the sellers to manage our operational cost. The subscriptions packs are designed to match the need of a seller in different business stages. Below are the subscription plan details for sellers.

• Starter Pack (₹200/month): Seller can upload 5 products every month.
• Business Pack (₹300/month): Seller can enlist 10 products every month.
• Growth Pack (₹500/month): Seller can enlist 15 products every month.

The subscription pack includes Advertisement slots and other benefits that we fill needed for a seller.

Every seller gets one month of complimentary Business Pack FREE of Cost once their application is approved so that they can run absolutely free for a month on the tough starting days. For the second month onwards you can run your store with a minimum flat ₹200/month without any commission to be paid ever!

There is a payment gateway charge that the seller should consider before setting the price. Shipping charges are over and above the prices of the product and displayed on the checkout page based on address of delivery.
